Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 7, 2026
Effective date: May 7, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Find Run Clubs, available at https://findrunclubs.app, including our website, run club profiles, run listings, search pages, maps, account features, forms, partner tools and related services (together, the "Platform").
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. About Find Run Clubs
Find Run Clubs helps people discover running communities, run clubs and upcoming runs by city or location.
The Platform may include run club profiles, run listings, dates, times, meeting points, distances, paces, training types, after-run details, captains, maps, registration links, social links, follower features, search filters, location suggestions and partner or manager tools.
Unless we clearly state otherwise, Find Run Clubs is a discovery and information platform. We do not organize, supervise, insure or control every run or run club listed on the Platform.
2. Accounts and Access
You may browse public parts of the Platform without an account. Some features, such as following a run club, submitting certain forms or accessing partner tools, may require an account.
When you create an account, you must provide accurate information, keep your login details secure and update information that becomes inaccurate. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless that activity results from our own failure to use reasonable security measures.
We may refuse, limit, suspend or close accounts if we reasonably believe they are being used unlawfully, abusively, misleadingly or in breach of these Terms.
3. Run Clubs, Organizers and Partners
If you submit, claim, manage or edit a run club or run listing, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
You are responsible for keeping listing information accurate and up to date, including dates, times, meeting points, registration links, route details, safety notes, cancellation notices and any requirements for participants.
You must not impersonate another club, publish fake runs, misrepresent your affiliation, use logos or images without permission, or direct users to unsafe, fraudulent or misleading experiences.
If your run, club or community activity requires permits, insurance, waivers, safeguarding processes, age restrictions, route approvals or other legal or operational controls, you are responsible for arranging and maintaining them.
4. Safety and Real-World Runs
Running involves physical effort and real-world risk. Information on the Platform may be incomplete, outdated, user-provided, imported or affected by weather, traffic, route closures, construction, local rules, mapping errors or last-minute event changes.
Before joining a run, you are responsible for deciding whether it is suitable for your health, fitness, experience, equipment and local conditions.
You should check official sources, club communications, weather, route conditions, transport, lighting, road safety and local restrictions before attending.
The Platform does not provide medical advice, training advice, emergency services, navigation guarantees or safety supervision. If you have health concerns, seek advice from a qualified professional before participating.
5. Content You Provide
"Content" means anything submitted, uploaded, posted, sent or made available through the Platform, including text, photos, logos, event details, club information, routes, names, social links, URLs, suggestions, feedback and profile information.
You keep ownership of Content you own. By making Content available through the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, publish, format, resize, adapt for technical reasons, translate and distribute that Content as needed to operate, improve, promote and protect the Platform.
You confirm that you have all rights and permissions needed for the Content you provide, including permissions for images, logos, names, trademarks, route data, personal information and any people shown or identified.
You must not submit Content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, privacy-invasive, infringing, misleading, spammy, malicious or otherwise harmful.
We may remove, edit, refuse, de-index or restrict Content if we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, infringes rights, creates risk, is inaccurate or is not appropriate for the Platform.
6. Privacy and Cookies
Our handling of personal data, cookies and similar technologies is described in our Privacy Policy.
By using the Platform, you understand that we may process account details, submitted forms, listing information, usage information, device information and technical logs as described in that policy.
We may send you service messages about your account, security, listings, partner access, run club management, legal updates or operational changes. Marketing messages, where used, will be sent and managed according to applicable law and your communication preferences.
7. Third-Party Services
The Platform may show or link to third-party services, including registration pages, club websites, Instagram, Strava, WhatsApp, Facebook, TikTok, Google Maps, Mapbox, authentication providers, analytics providers and other external tools.
We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, security, privacy practices, payments, refunds, events or terms. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harassing, discriminatory or misleading purposes;
- interfere with, damage, overload, scan, test, reverse engineer or bypass the security or functionality of the Platform;
- scrape, harvest, copy, bulk download, republish or commercially exploit Platform data without our written permission;
- upload malware, spam, phishing content, deceptive links or automated requests that disrupt normal operation;
- impersonate another person, run club, organizer, company or public authority;
- violate intellectual property, privacy, image, publicity, consumer protection or data protection rights;
- use the Platform to organize, promote or facilitate unsafe, illegal or unauthorized events.
9. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its design, code, branding, templates, databases, taxonomies, text, graphics and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the Platform for its intended purpose.
You may not copy, modify, sell, license, distribute or create competing products from the Platform or its data except where allowed by law or with our written permission.
10. Fees and External Costs
Public browsing and standard account features may be offered free of charge unless we state otherwise.
If we introduce paid features, subscriptions, promotions, partner plans, ticketing, payments or other paid services, the applicable price, billing terms, cancellation terms and refund rules will be shown before purchase or made available in separate terms.
You are responsible for internet, mobile, roaming, payment-provider, bank and other third-party charges that may apply when you use the Platform.
11. Availability and Changes to the Platform
We aim to keep the Platform useful and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, secure or permanent access.
We may change, add, remove, suspend, limit or stop any part of the Platform at any time, including features, listings, filters, maps, account tools, partner tools, languages or supported locations.
12. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, representations and conditions, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, availability, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We do not guarantee that run listings, club information, maps, locations, times, distances, paces, routes, registration links, social links, availability or third-party content are accurate, complete, current, safe, lawful or suitable for you.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, opportunity, reputation, business, revenue or expected savings.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for injury, loss, damage, delay, cancellation, dispute or claim arising from runs, run clubs, organizers, routes, weather, traffic, public spaces, third-party services, registration providers, user Content or inaccurate listing information.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is unlawful, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time. If account deletion is available in your account area, you may use that option. You may also contact us at dev@snappdigital.pt.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform, partner tools, listings or accounts if we reasonably believe there has been a violation of these Terms, a legal risk, a security risk, misuse, infringement, inaccurate listing activity or conduct that harms users, run clubs, partners or the Platform.
After termination, we may delete or anonymize account-related information according to our Privacy Policy and legal obligations. Some Content may remain where it has been shared publicly, copied into backups, included in records we must keep, or retained for legitimate legal, security, integrity or compliance reasons.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected users, such as by posting a notice on the Platform, sending an email or requiring acceptance during account use.
Your continued use of the Platform after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms, unless mandatory law requires a different process.
16. Governing Law and Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, unless mandatory consumer protection or local law requires otherwise.
Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at dev@snappdigital.pt so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
For questions about these Terms, contact us at dev@snappdigital.pt.
